Senior Recruitment Consultant – Renewables & Sustainability

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Consultant with a passion for sustainability or an existing background in the energy, engineering, or technical markets, who’s ready to build and own a space in one of the fastest-growing global sectors.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a 360 Consultant, you’ll have full autonomy over your own renewable energy market, whether that’s solar, wind, BESS, hydrogen, or grid infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for:

• Managing the full recruitment cycle – from winning new clients and building long-term partnerships to sourcing, interviewing, and placing top-tier talent across the clean energy ecosystem
• Advising clients on hiring strategy, salary benchmarking, and skills market insight
• Proactively sourcing candidates using a range of tools – LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and headhunting
• Delivering high-quality candidate assessments, interviews, and career guidance
• Matching individuals with opportunities across developers, EPCs, consultancies, and energy tech firms
• Managing the end-to-end interview, offer, and onboarding process
• Staying informed on energy market trends to offer real insight and become a trusted voice in your niche
• Building a high-value desk with long-term client and candidate relationships

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in recruitment (energy, engineering or sustainability markets)
• Proven billing track record and ability to grow and manage a desk
• Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills
• Commercially aware and able to spot growth opportunities in a fast-evolving sector
• Passionate about the future of clean energy and playing a part in sustainable change
• Self-motivated, proactive, and keen to contribute to a collaborative, values-led team
• Adaptable and resilient – with the emotional intelligence to thrive in a client-driven market
