We’re partnering with a specialist Legal Recruitment agency based in the heart of Bristol, who work with some of the most respected national and global law firms. With bold ambitions to become a market leader in legal recruitment worldwide, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Consultant who is looking to specialise (or already works) in legal, or who is ready to take their existing experience to the next level with a brand that is disrupting the status quo.

What you’ll be doing

As an experienced Consultant, you’ll own and grow your own legal recruitment market, working closely with clients and candidates across your niche. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing the full 360 recruitment cycle – from winning new business and nurturing client relationships, to sourcing, qualifying, and placing top-tier legal professionals
  • Advising clients on hiring strategies, salary benchmarking, and market conditions
  • Building and expanding your candidate network using a mix of sourcing techniques – job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and headhunting
  • Interviewing and assessing candidates, offering career advice and insights
  • Matching candidates to the right roles and law firm cultures, adding real value on both sides of the process
  • Managing the interview, offer, and negotiation process smoothly and professionally
  • Maintaining long-term relationships with clients and candidates for repeat business and referrals
  • Staying ahead of legal sector trends and developments to remain a trusted market expert

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in recruitment (legal experience desirable but not essential)
  • A proven track record of billing success and consistent delivery
  • A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Driven, ambitious, and self-motivated – someone who wants to grow a desk and leave a mark
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to think strategically about your market
  • High levels of emotional intelligence and resilience
  • Passionate about delivering quality and building genuine, long-term partnerships
